Kapalua's Pineapple Hill and Pineapple Hill Estates is a popular neighborhood in the heart of the Kapalua Resort.

Pineapple Hill is the first phase of the development and was originally designed with 99 homesites, most being a quarter-acre, though many of them were consolidated to make larger lots.  Owners must build one of six floor plans (thought modifications are allowed with approval from the Design Review Committee), unless buildling on two or more contiguous lots, in which case a custom home is permitted.

The Kapalua Golf Villas is a popular community located in the heart of the Kapalua Resort.  Built in 1979, the property is comprised of 16 buildings on 15.84 acres.  Originally designed with one and two-bedroom floor plans, there have been some two-bedroom loft-style floor plans that were converted to three-bedroom villas.  Onsite amenities include four swimming pools and barbeque areas.  The Kapalua Resort is home to two championship golf courses, tennis, hiking, world-class dining and some of Maui's most beloved beaches.

Troon, the management for Maui's famed Plantation Course in Kapalua, has announced plans to revitalize the course, as well as key components of the Bay Course and Golf Academy. 

The Plantation Course repeatedly receives accolades as one of the best courses in Hawaii.  Around the world, the course is best known as home to the annual PGA Tour Tournament of Champions, an invitation-only tournament, with a field comprised of only to the prior year's tournament winners.

The multi-million dollar enhancement project includes plans to have the original architects, Bill Coore and Ben Crenshaw, work with the Golf Channel's Mark Rolfing, a long time Kapalua resident.  The initial scope of the project includes resurfacing the greens, renovating the bunkers, and
