Nestled along the Kapalua coastline overlooking Oneloa Bay and the Kapalua Bay Course, the Kapalua Ironwoods is a hidden gem. Tucked behind the gates is a small community of just 10 buildings with 39 private residences.  A pedestrian gate allows direct access down to the white sandy beach at Oneloa Bay.  Onsite amenities include a tennis court, gym, pool and hot tub.

Pineapple Hill and Pineapple Hill Estates Market Update, Oct 2019

Kapalua's Pineapple Hill and Pineapple Hill Estates is a popular neighborhood in the heart of the Kapalua Resort.

Pineapple Hill is the first phase of the development and was originally designed with 99 homesites, most being a quarter-acre, though many of them were consolidated to make larger lots.  Owners must build one of six floor plans (thought modifications are allowed with approval from the Design Review Committee), unless buildling on two or more contiguous lots, in which case a custom home is permitted.  

Pineapple Estates was annexed in early in 2001, with 31 homesites being integrated into the community.  Lots are larger (approximately a half-acre) and custom homes

The Kapalua Golf Villas is a popular community located in the heart of the Kapalua Resort.  Built in 1979, the property is comprised of 16 buildings on 15.84 acres.  Originally designed with one and two-bedroom floor plans, there have been some two-bedroom loft-style floor plans that were converted to three-bedroom villas.  Onsite amenities include four swimming pools and barbeque areas.  The Kapalua Resort is home to two championship golf courses, tennis, hiking, world-class dining and some of Maui's most beloved beaches.

When originally developed as a Ritz-Carlton Club and Residences in 2008, the property was comprised of 84 wholly-owned three and four-bedroom residences, some of the largest condominiums available in West Maui.  These residences are located in buildings 1, 2, 5 and 6 and ranged from 2,789 to 4,055 sq. ft. 

The development also included 62 smaller two and three-bedroom residences that were offered as 1/12 ownership located in buildings 3 and 4.  Since then, the property was re-branded in 2014 and all developer fractional sales were halted.

Pineapple Hill was originally developed with six single-story and two-story floor plan designs, with custom homes being allowed on two or more contiguous lots.  With just 99 homesites, 13 lots ended up being utilized for these larger, custom homes.

Kapalua's famed Plantation Course is home to the PGA TOUR's Sentry Tournament of Champions, an invitation-only tournament featuring an elite field of tour winners from the year before.  Consistently ranked as the #1 golf course in Hawaii, with numerous awards and accolades, playing the Plantation is a must for golfers visiting Maui.
