It is my hope to bring to you a variety of recipes courtesy of some of the best chefs on the island.

When I began Local Flavors, I thought it best to start with one of my favorite restaurants, the Lahaina Grill. Now, I am pleased to present a tasting menu perfect for entertaining from proprietor Jurg Much. This contemporary bistro is located in the historic Lahaina Inn, just off Front Street. This is where I love to celebrate a special occasion--the chef utilizes the freshest local ingredients, the service excellent, and the atmosphere is warm and inviting. Since opening in 1990 as a little 55-seat bistro, the Lahaina Grill has grown to 155-seats, in order to better serve the demand for its award winning cuisine and incredible wine selection.
