When I began Local Flavors, I thought it best to start with one of my favorite restaurants, the Lahaina Grill.  This contemporary bistro is located in the historic Lahaina Inn, just off Front Street.  This is where I love to celebrate a special occasion--the chef utilizes the freshest local ingredients, the service excellent, and the atmosphere is warm and inviting.  Since opening in 1990 as a little 55-seat bistro, the Lahaina Grill has grown to 155-seats, in order to better serve the demand for its award winning cuisine and incredible wine selection.  You can visit Lahaina Grill at 127 Lahainaluna Road or  www.lahainagrill.com
