The Montage Residences Kapalua Bay Update: a limited collection of 15 three-bedroom residences soon to be released
The Residences at the Montage Kapalua Bay have been one of Maui's most desirable vacation destinations and one of Maui's most sought after condominium properties. Initially developed as the Ritz-Carlton Club and Residences, the original offering was 84 wholly-owned Grand Residences and 62 fractional (1/12th) ownership residences. These original Grand Residences ranged from 2789 sq. ft. for a three-bedroom residence, 2901 sq. ft. for a three-bedroom residence with a den, and 4055 sq. ft. for the four-bedroom residences.
Since the rebranding and launch of sales in 2014, the Montage Residences Kapalua Bay have commanded the highest sales prices for condominiums in West Maui: sales have ranged from $3,125,000 to $6,475,000 for the three-bedroom residences, and the larger four-bedroom residences have ranged from $7,500,000 to $8,950,000. When the property was rebranded, the fractional sales halted, converting any unsold fractional residences to hotel inventory. There were over 20 three-bedroom residences that had no fractions sold, and now 15 of those residences will be offered for sale.
Situated in Buildings 3 and 4, which flank the lobby entrance, each residence offers over 2,000 square feet of interior living space with views of the ocean and outer-islands. The residences are smaller than the Grand Residences and while pricing has not yet been released, this promises to be an exceptional entry point into ownership at the Forbes five-star resort.
