As a fifth-generation Kama'aina, I was born here on Maui and grew up in the small Upcountry town of Makawao. I am grateful that my education has taken me to San Francisco, Massachusetts and London, and that I've had the opportunity to travel to many parts of the world.
A graduate of Smith College, I initially returned home to Maui to be with my family and work as a crisis counselor at a local shelter. I grew interested in real estate, and began my career in 1997.
The relationships I have formed with my clients over the years are some of the most wonderful and important in my life. I enjoy this profession immensely--it allows me to use my knowledge of the island and the nuances of living in various areas and communities to fulfill my clients' lifelong dreams of living in Paradise.
The hallmark of my approach is a client-first philosophy. Behind this philosophy is in-depth community and market knowledge, marketing savvy, integrity, and effective negotiation skills (view testimonials). Over the years, I have built a high-quality professional network, including lenders, home inspectors, appraisers, rental program managers, and more.
In order to best serve my sellers, I take a team approach. I co-list all of my listings with Rob Shelton, R(B). We have found that, by working together, there is always someone available 365 days a year to show our listings. Highly respected with a profound work ethic, Rob is consistently amongst the top realtors on Maui in terms of production. An active community leader, Rob has worked tirelessly with the Lahainaluna Foundation to improve our local high school.
I am pleased to work with Island Sotheby's International Realty. I am thrilled to be a part of the Sotheby's International Realty network, and to be partnered with an organization that is known for representing the finest luxury real estate here on Maui and around the world. Prior to my affiliation with Sotheby's I worked with Kapalua Realty for nearly twelve years. In my career in real estate, I have represented Buyers and Sellers of some of the finest in Resort, Golf Course, Oceanfront and Oceanview properties that Maui has to offer.
I have served as a board member for the Realtor's Association of Maui as both the West Maui Regional Director and as a Director at Large, and volunteered on our Wishing Well project. My service on the Realtor's Association of Maui Board and Community Foundation have provided me with valuable information on the market and the community. In 2014, I received the honor of Realtor (S) of the Year from the Realtor's Association of Maui. In 2017, I was named to Hawaii Business Magazine's Top 100 Realtors in the State of Hawaii for the second time, and to REAL Trends America's Best Real Estate Agents.

MAUI Buyers' Representation
As your Buyer's Representative, my goal is to provide you with the in depth, local knowledge you need to make the process of buying a property here on Maui enjoyable and hassle free. Many of my clients live on the mainland, and I serve as an on island guide throughout the transaction, attending inspections, monitoring the escrow, and taking care of any issues that might arise.
For Buyers, there are many nuances and factors to consider in choosing the right property. I enjoy showing the various neighborhoods and communities that make Maui a unique place, and provide information on market history and local resources including lenders, escrow companies, and more. If you share with me your requirements and preferences in a property, I will cull through the MLS to find those that best suit your needs and wishes, and provide you with a customized report.
Once you've found a place that catches your eye, we'll look at comparable properties in the area to help determine a purchase offer. Then we'll negotiate on your behalf with the seller's broker to make sure you get the most favorable terms.
It's my job to look after your best interests, and I will do so at no cost to you as a buyer.
