Aloha,

I want to wish you and your family a joyous holiday season, and hope that the new year brings continued happiness. I also want to let you know how much I appreciate your referrals and the opportunity to work with you.
The holidays are the beginning of our busy season, and there are several new announcements in the Kapalua Resort: In resort news, the Kapalua Adventure Center will be opening soon, featuring a coffee bar, cafe, concierge staff, and an outdoor adventure retail shop. Located in the old Vino's Restaurant location, guests will check in here for the new Zipline Adventures. I had the opportunity to view the site recently, and views are absolutely spectacular. The zipline course will consist of seven spans of cables covering almost two miles, and features a parallel cable system, so you can ride side-by-side with family and friends.
The Ritz-Carlton is currently scheduled to re-open on January 7th, after undergoing the $130 million renovation. The hotel's excellent sushi bar, Kai Sushi will be re-located in the former library space off of the lobby, the Banyan Tree restaurant will feature an outdoor bar and lounge with a covered terrace, and the 10,000 square foot pool will have an expanded adult pool area, as well as a new children's pool.
In the central resort, the Honolua Store is expanding to include a dinner service with dinner take-out, a coffee bar, and an expanded deli. Our office is also undergoing a renovation, with new displays of current and future development. I hope you will stop by the next time you are in Kapalua.
Tickets are now on sale for the Mercedes-Benz Championship, which will take place from Dec. 31-Jan. 6, 2008. For general admission, please go to www.kapalua.com  There is also an exciting new viewing pavillion, offering premium seating behind the 11th tee of the Plantation Course. The location provides panoramic views of the 11th tee and green, teh 10th green, and the 14th tee. Space is limited--for tickets, please call the Kapalua Events office, 808-665-9160. The Kapalua Events office is also your contact for information on Pro-Am slots for the first annual Kapalua LPGA Classic, to be held October 13-19, 2008.
In real estate news, the high end of the market continues to fare well, with pending sales at Coconut Grove and Pineapple Hill, and new closings at the Coconut Grove, Plantation Estates, and Honolua Ridge II. There is a great selection of available properties at the Bay, Ridge, and Golf Villas as well. We are still taking a list of interested parties for the new Residential Suites at the Ritz-Carlton, Kapalua. Village at Kapalua:
Conceptual plans for the Village at Kapalua are underway, finally turning the vision of a village center into reality. At the top of the property where the plantation manager's home once stood (Pineapple Hill Restaurant), will be the Manor House at Maka'oi'oi. The Villas at Royal Lahaina is a new project at a fantastic beach, Kekaa, the other side of Kaanapali's famous black rock.
