Aloha,

In an effort to keep you updated on the Maui market, I thought I'd send along information on the new Baccarat Wailea Resort and Residences. The Grand Opening Sales event was just announced, along with the plans for the redevelopment of the Renaissance Wailea into a world class beachfront resort hotel and luxury spa built on 15.6 acres with 193 Residences in a low rise, low density development just north of the Shops at Wailea..
Initial plans indicate that the grounds will include an arrival pavilion and lobby bar with dramatic oceanviews. A spectacular waterway leads one through the lobby to a speciality restaurant below. The elegant series of pools lead to a private sand lawn at the ocean's edge. The property has three tiers: the beachfront residences, central resort residences, and the upper residences. Floorplans range from one to four bedroom, and feature first class finishes and appliances. Private plunge pools and rain shower "grottos" are a feature in some of the residences. Proposed services and amenities include such features as: in room and garden cabana massage and spa services upon request, specialty restaurant and bar, beachside pool, poolside restaurant, water/beach activities and equipment, children's water recreation area and center, private function and catering facilities, state of the art audio/visual services available for private functions, ballroom and event lawn, game room, 24 hour state of the art fitness facility with on-site personal trainer, concierge, security, and Ala carte maid service, in room food and beverage services, and child care services.
Pricing begins at approximately $1,836,000 to $9,758,000. The developer has scheduled the grand opening sales event and potential grand opening lottery. As part of the sales event, the Seller will commence the formal receipt of the offer to purchase and unit designation agreements beginning at 9:00 am on July 27, 2007. Prospective purchasers must deliver a signed agreement together with a refundable deposit in the amount of $50,000 in order to participate in the sales event.
